MindTrail

Privacy policy

Last updated 25 September 2026

MindTrail helps you keep track of how an older dog is doing and suggests activities to do together. This page says what the app stores, where, and what you can do about it.

No account

MindTrail has no sign-up. The first time it runs, the app makes a random identifier on your phone. That identifier is how our server knows which records are yours. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or Apple ID.

What we store

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or location. There are no adverts, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites. We do not sell or share your information.

Why

Only to run the app: to score check-ins, draw the trend, and choose the lessons your dog needs. The scoring happens on our server so it can be corrected without an app update.

Where it is kept

On MindTrail’s own server. Everything travels over an encrypted connection. The network provider that carries that connection handles the traffic only to deliver it.

The PDF for your vet

The PDF is made on your phone. It goes only where you send it.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe, Apple takes the payment. We never see your card or payment details, only whether a subscription is active.

Keeping and deleting

Records are kept while you use the app. Removing a dog in the app (press and hold it, then Remove) deletes that dog and its whole history from our server. To have everything deleted, contact us through the Support link on MindTrail’s App Store page and we will remove it.

Children

MindTrail is meant for adults caring for a dog. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Anything that changes what we collect will be shown in the app first.
